1. Can you send me free samples?

Due to the amount of effort and cost involved in producing our all-natural products by hand, we cannot possibly meet the demand for free samples on the Internet. However, we would like to invite you to sign up for our free Herbs of Grace Newsletter, where we frequently make exclusive discounts available to our subscribers.

If you have a boutique, spa, or bed and breakfast inn and would like to carry Herbs of Grace products, please see our Wholesale Sampling Program application.

2. Can you ship items outside the USA?

Yes! Our shopping cart is now able to handle international shipping addresses.

3. Want to exchange links with Herbs of Grace, Inc?

If you have a natural toiletries company, are a work-from-home parent, have a holistic health website or another website that would be complementary to Herbs of Grace, Inc., let’s exchange links!

4. Help! I’m pregnant and I’ve been using the “oils to avoid during pregnancy.” What should I do?

Since it would be highly unethical to test on pregnant women, the list of essential oils to avoid during pregnancy is based on knowledge of the general properties of each essential oil. For obvious reasons, during pregnancy it is recommended to avoid essential oils which are known to thin the blood or cause cramping or contractions. Used under proper dilution, most of these oils should not cause any problems during a healthy pregnancy, but it is always best to err on the side of caution.

If you are currently pregnant and have been using any of the “to be avoided” essential oils but are not experiencing any bleeding or cramping, then there most likely is nothing wrong. However, we strongly encourage you to consult your doctor or midwife and discontinue use of the “to be avoided” essential oils. This information is provided “as is” — it cannot replace the personal care your doctor or midwife provides you and Herbs of Grace makes no medical claims for its products. 6. Are these products guaranteed to work?

We make all of our products in small batches, so they will always arrive fresh and ready to use. While we formulate our products to provide all skin types with the mildest, most gentle action possible, please understand that we cannot make any specific medicinal claims for our products.

7. Is shopping on Herbs of Grace.com safe?

Yes! We do not ask for any personal information until you are ready to check out, so you can browse safely and anonymously for as long as you like. When you are ready to check out, we offer a secure server link for our order form – our secure certificate is provided by GeoTrust. Our secure gateway payment partner is Authorize.net, one of the most trusted name brands in Internet payment processing. If you prefer to use PayPal, PayPal will take and keep your payment information securely.

Our account creation process allows us to securely collect and store your billing and shipping information so that you can use it now and on future orders. Please be assured that Herbs of Grace NEVER sells, rents or shares its customer information to third parties, except to fill your order and as required by law. 8. Does Herbs of Grace.com accept credit cards?

Yes! We are pleased to offer online secure payments through Authorize.net, one of the most trusted names in Internet payment processing. In addition, you can also make credit card payments via PayPal, even if you do not wish to have a PayPal account. Please see our PayPal help topic for more details.

9. Does Herbs of Grace.com accept checks?

Yes, Herbs of Grace accepts checks and money orders. However the Herbs of Grace owner, Vanessa Nixon Klein, is currently living abroad, so please contact us directly for more information about paying by check or money order. Please note that we wait for personal checks to clear deposit before sending an order.

10. Does Herbs of Grace.com accept PayPal?

Yes! Whether you have a PayPal account or not, you can make secure online payments to Herbs of Grace with PayPal. PayPal allows you to make secure online payments without creating a PayPal account. Of course, if you have a PayPal account then you can take advantage of paying for your Herbs of Grace orders with your PayPal account balance, instant bank account transfers, eChecks and more. ~Note: When using PayPal PLEASE continue clicking “continue” or “return to merchant” until PayPal returns you to Herbs of Grace.com. This will ensure that we receive a confirmation of your payment from PayPal and a confirmation of the items you purchased from Herbs of Grace.

1. Herbs of Grace.com Browser Requirements

Our website was designed for standards-compliant browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome. If you are using an older browser, we highly recommend upgrading to the newest version of your favorite browser.
In addition, if you can enable JavaScript and install the Flash player from Adobe, you will get even more enjoyment out of our website. Speaking of Adobe, there are some PDF files on this site. If you are having trouble viewing the files, we recommend upgrading your Adobe Reader to the newest version.

2. Important Information about contacting Herbs of Grace by e-mail

When contacting Herbs of Grace by e-mail, please make sure you can receive email from herbsofgrace.com so that we can respond to you. If you do not receive a reply from us within 2 days, it is probably because your spam filter (or your ISP) has blocked our response from reaching you. If you do not wish to allow email from herbsofgrace.com to reach you, please make sure we have another valid method (phone or mail) for contacting you.

3. Important Information for AOL Users

Please note that certain family protection and anti-spam mechanisms offered by AOL may prevent you from using Internet websites, including Herbs of Grace.com, and prevent us from responding to you via email. If you are an AOL user and are having difficulty using our website, it may be because you have chosen too high a security level in your AOL browser. Furthermore, if you contact us by email and do not receive a response, it is most likely because AOL blocked our email response from reaching you. If you do not wish to lower your AOL online protection levels to shop at Herbs of Grace.com, please do not use this website; instead, contact us by phone or mail:

4. Changing the quantity of products in your shopping cart

First, add a product to the shopping cart by pressing “Add to Cart”.
If an “Add to Cart” button takes you to a product’s description, it means you need to select an option (such as size, skin type, flavor, gift set options, etc). Make your selection(s) from the drop down box(es) and press “Add to Cart”
Once an item is in your shopping cart, you can change the quantity as follows:
1. Click “Your Shopping Cart” if you are not already in your shopping cart
2. To increase the quantity or decrease it to a non-zero number, enter the desired amount in the “Qty.” box next to the product’s picture and name
3. Press “Update”
To remove an item from your shopping cart, first check the “Remove” box next to the item’s picture and name. Then press “Update”.
Note: changing the quantity to 0 will not remove an item from your shopping cart. You must check the “Remove” box to remove items from your cart.

5. Redeeming Online Coupons

You can apply a discount coupon code to your order on the Payment page when you checkout as follows:

First make sure you have chosen a payment method: credit card, check/money order, or PayPal
Then enter the coupon code in the Credits section where it says “Do you have an unused gift certificate or coupon code? Enter code here and press Redeem”. Enter the coupon code in that form field and press “Redeem”.
You will be taken to the Order Summary page where you should see that coupon has been credited to your order.

If you notice that the coupon did not get credited to your order, it may be because:

You did not enter the coupon code in the correct place. See above for details.
You did not meet the minimum order subtotal requirement or specific product requirement. Check the details of the coupon and make sure your order subtotal meets any requirement and that you have placed any specific products in your shopping cart. If your coupon did not get applied to your order total, and you did not get an error message, you can check the coupon details from “Your Shopping Cart.” Once your are on the Your Shopping Cart page, scroll to the page bottom. If you redeemed a coupon, there should be Credits section at the bottom with “Coupon :” in it. Click “more info” to see the full details of your coupon.
The coupon has expired. See above to check the details of your coupon.
You have already used the coupon the maximum number of times on previous orders. Most of our coupon offers are limited to 1 per customer.

If you are still unable to apply a coupon and you are sure that you have entered the coupon code properly, that your order has met the minimum requirements, that the coupon has not expired and that you have not used the coupon already, please contact us for support. Be sure to include as many details as possible about your order, the coupon and what happened when you checked out so that we can process your order and fix any problems. Please do this BEFORE confirming your order. Thanks.

Notes:

We will not and cannot honor coupon codes entered in the “comments about your order” section.
Coupon codes must be entered in the Credits section of the Payment checkout page (see above).
Herbs of Grace is not responsible for applying coupons after you have confirmed and paid for your order.
If you are having trouble applying a coupon code, please contact us BEFORE you make your payment.

6. When problems occur

If you encounter any problems or errors while using our website, please contact us. Please make sure you give as much information as possible including your browser and version number, computer operating system, what you were trying to do when you encountered the problem, and any error messages you received. The more specific you can be, the better we will be able to help you.
